Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs)
Preparation and Submission
The nomination form can only be accessed in the Annual Folder by using respective division's e-mail addresses.
Promotion ceremony shall be held based on one of the following conditions:
Through Division's anniversary celebration
Centralised promotion ceremony organised by Area
STEP (1): FORM PREPARATION
Divisional Superintendent / Officer(s) to complete and submit the nomination to Area through division's official e-mail.
Division to finalise the latest number of valid Members (for school based division - excluding current Cadets who are leaving school in current year) before submitting the nomination.

Quota for each promotion will be generated by system automatically. No amendment is to be made.
FOLLOWING PAGES
Complete the form based on sections.
*(A) Current non-school leavers NCOs who are not being nominated for promotion
(B) New Nominated NCOs (non-school leavers)
(C) Current NCOs who are being nominated for further promotion (non-school leavers)
**(D) Nomination of school-leavers
Remarks
*(A): For Adult Membership, only complete the name(s) of current NCO who are not being nominated for promotion.
**(D): Not applicable for Adult Membership
As soon as the nominated list is finalised at Divisional level, Divisional Superintendent/ Officer(s) to inform ASO (Cadets) and review from Area will be conducted.
Additional Remarks about Submission Timeline:
Divisions are to follow the timeline below based on one of the conditions stated:
For Division which is celebrating anniversary and promotion ceremony is expected to happen:
List to be nominated, finalised and submitted to Area at least one month before the event.
For Division which is not celebrating anniversary:
List to be nominated, finalised and submitted to Area before the stated due date given by Area. A centralised promotion ceremony is to be held by Area.
STEP (2): REVIEW AND APROVAL FROM AREA
Review of the nominated list will be conducted at Area level, which comprises of the following Members of Promotion Board (Officers):
Area Commander
Deputy Area Commander
Area Superintendent (Operations)
Area Superintendent (Nursing)
Area Hon. Secreatary
Area Hon. Treasurer
Area Staff Officer (Cadets)
It is to be understood that the nomination process is empowered fully at Divisional level, which is under the command of respective Divisional Superintendents/ Officers. However, Divisional Superintendent/ Officer(s) may be requested with more justifications for any nomination if it is deemed necessary by the Members of Promotion Board.
As soon as the nominated list is approved at Area level, ASO (Cadets) is to update the promoted list in Area's portal. The promoted list is to be forwarded to respective Divisional Superintendents/ Officers for reference. Area will proceed with the NCO Promotion Warrant (Watikah Pelantikan NCO) printing, and it shall be handed over to the Division(s) concerned if the Division is to have its promotion ceremony held in conjunction with its anniversary celebration. Else, all promotions of NCOs will be held at Area level.
