Cadet Service Award (CSA)
The Cadet Service Award (CSA) is awarded to Cadets who have obtained efficiency criteria in each calendar year.
In order for a Cadet to be efficient, he/ she must achieve the following criteria in the calendar year:
Attended not less than 12 Divisional Instructional Meeting
Attended and passed annual first aid examination
Attended Annual Inspection / Review
Attended not less than 15 duty hours
The CSA is determined and awarded to Cadets based on the records submitted in BF1 of the previous year.
STEP (1): SUBMISSION OF ANNUAL RETURNS (BF1)
Divisional PIC should ensure the Annual Returns (BF1) is submitted before the stated due date, which is before or latest by 15 January of the following year.
STEP (2): VERIFICATION OF EFFICIENCY STATUS
The Area Staff Officer (Cadets) is responsible to review and verify the efficiency status of Cadets based on the BF1 submitted through their respective Annual Folders.
A list of Cadets who are eligible to obtain CSA will be compiled and updated by ASO (Cadets) in KMT Awards Portal.
Presentation of CSA will be held in conjunction with the Area's Cadet Enrolment, Rank Promotion and Award Presentation Ceremony. All CSA recipients are expected to attend the ceremony and receive the named award.
